Auto-darkening welding helmet that transitions from a light state to dark when welding starts. The light state is DIN 4; darkness is adjustable from DIN 9 to DIN 13 via an external regulator. The reaction time from light to dark is 0.04 milliseconds; the return from dark to light takes 0.03-0.04 seconds. Powered by solar cells, it has 2 built-in lithium batteries to provide backup power and extend service life. No replacement batteries are needed.
